Managing Your Websites

The My Websites tab in your account portal is where you manage all your sites. This guide covers everything you need to know about viewing, opening, editing, and deleting your websites.

Viewing All Your Websites

  1. Go to your account portal.
  2. Click the My Websites tab.

You'll see a list of every website you've created. Each entry shows:

  • Site name -- The name you gave your site.
  • Web address -- The URL where your site lives (for example, my-bakery.webnesting.site).
  • Status -- Whether your site is active or in another state.
  • Date created -- When you first created the site.

Opening Your Site's Admin Dashboard

The admin dashboard is where you manage content, change the design, and adjust settings for a specific site.

  1. Find the site you want to manage in your My Websites list.
  2. Click the admin panel link (labeled with your site's admin path, such as Sandbox) next to that site.
  3. You'll be taken directly to the admin dashboard.

You're automatically signed in. There's no need to enter your email and password again.

Tip: Bookmark your site's admin dashboard if you visit it often. It saves you a step.

Visiting Your Live Site

Want to see what your site looks like to visitors?

  1. Find the site in your My Websites list.
  2. Click the web address for that site.
  3. Your live site opens in a new tab.

This is exactly what your visitors see when they come to your site.

Editing Site Details

You can update basic information about your site after it's been created.

  1. Find the site in your My Websites list.
  2. Click the option to edit the site's details.
  3. Make your changes.
  4. Save your updates.

Deleting a Website

If you no longer need a site, you can delete it. Please read this section carefully before proceeding.

  1. Find the site in your My Websites list.
  2. Click the delete option for that site.
  3. You'll be asked to confirm your decision.
  4. Confirm the deletion.

Warning: Deleting a website removes all of its content, pages, images, and settings permanently. This action cannot be undone. Be absolutely certain before you delete a site.

Tip: If you're unsure, consider keeping the site rather than deleting it. You can always delete it later.

Creating Additional Websites

You can create as many websites as you need. Each one has its own admin dashboard, its own content, and its own web address.

To create a new site:

  1. Go to the My Websites tab.
  2. Click Create Website.
  3. Follow the steps in the creation form.

Tips for Managing Multiple Sites

  • Use clear, descriptive site names. If you have several sites, distinct names help you quickly find the one you need.
  • Check usage by site. The Usage tab in your account portal breaks down resource usage per site, so you can see which sites are using the most.
  • Keep your sites organized. Visit the My Websites tab regularly to review your sites and remove any you no longer need.

Tip: Each site operates independently. Changes you make to one site won't affect your others.
